Seriously?

My brother sent me this picture of a standard 12 oz. can of Mountain Dew next to a large HUMUNGOUS can. It looks like the first can’s dad or something.

I love Mountain Dew – or as it is now known, “MTN Dew”. But come on folks!  The size of this can is INSANE.

This is what visitors to campus see as a welcome. Currently, the office of admissions is buried under a pile of fencing, asphalt, and gravel.

Nice.

I’m not a big fan of meme-blogs. They come, they go. Some are funny. Many, many others are not.

But, whomever the genius is that blogs at AdmissionsProblems is, well, a genius.

Because I work in higher education, specifically enrollment management (fancy-schmancy words for admissions), this blog speaks to me.

Hi. Not sure what to put here.

This is the first entry of a blog that I will surely be tired of in a couple of weeks. Until then, you are free to enjoy the hum-drummery that I post here.

I’m a recovering blogger who used to devote entirely too much time writing about politics.

Now, I’ve thrown myself head-first into my career in higher education. But, I still wanted a place to go to vent about things personal and professional, as well as share cute videos featuring my offspring.
